The trigger action is garbage, and while they have been reliable, the accuracy is just okay. As a side note: I have a couple of Berettas, a 96 Elite II, and a stainless 92FS, and I have to say that I've been very dissappointed with both of them. If you put the two guns side by side, you will see the differences. The only guy that I know that would say that is the guy trying to sell one to someone, because they are cheap, and maybe more in someone's price range.Taurus makes cheap knockoffs, not just Berettas, either. I don't know anyone who would say that the Taurus is a better gun. So I guess I am wondering if anyone here owns a Taurus PT92, knows anymore info about it, and any cons to buying it over the Beretta. ![]() But this was only in one review, so maybe this guy just didnt lube the gun properly.I dont know. The only thing I have read that the beretta may perform better, is in the trigger pull, something about the beretta being smoother. Some people have gone as far as to say that the Taurus is actually made by Beretta, and just sold as a Taurus at a discounted price. For all intents and purposes, I cannot tell the difference. It's probably the most reliable gun I have ever fired.(in fact my friend has put 3000 rounds through his with no mishaps)I was checking prices for these guns, and noticed that Taurus makes an authorized copy of the 92FS called the PT92. ![]() I find it a very comfortable gun, pretty accurate, and it almost never jams. I have always enjoyed shooting the Beretta M9 and it's civilian counterpart the Beretta 92FS, recently I was shooting my friends 92FS, and decided that I really wanted to pick one up. This is not really a novice thread asking to recommend a gun to purchase, so lets just keep it to these 2 guns, or this "single" gun.
